The book starts with a bang and maintains a fast pace which I enjoy. I tend to read batches of related books (history, military, adventure,political,etc) and only read DUNES a year ago. Gatekeeper was every bit as good and is set in our world and time. If you enjoy subject matter similar to DUNES you will enjoy Gatekeeper. I am waiting on the next and hoping there will be a series.Product details

Trilby has written a fantasy that takes you through the portals to the other side.
It transports you into the minds and hearts of the characters.
It combines murder with mysterious and dangerous creatures that keep you turning the pages. The author blends the lives of the characters with the world of fantasy in an extremely believable manner. So sit down, put your feet up and enter the world of magic with Arden and Kerrick, an adventure that you will never forget. A well written book.
While I normally don't read this genre, I started Gatekeeper and was drawn into the story and the characters. This is a well written book that will keep you turning pages until the wee hours. I look forward to Plant's next novel.
